Projet de création d'une bibliothèque en îlot central de la pièce de vie d'une maison individuelle.

Cet espace est très ouvert et le principal lieu de vie de la maison. Il réunit le salon et la salle à manger, et est adjacent à la cuisine et la chambre parentale. 

Un boitier existait à cet endroit afin de cacher un poteau et un tuyau d'évacuation des eaux pluviales. 

Le projet de rénovation consistait à trouver une destination à cet îlot central. 

La solution de la bibliothèque s'est vite imposée, car la bibliothèque actuelle de la maison était trop petite. 

La bibliothèque vient offrir une possibilité de rangements et une façon élégante de cacher les réseaux. Pour autant, il a été nécessaire de laisser une des parois de la bibliothèque avec une possibilité d'ouverture pour des problèmes de maintenance.

During the month of February 2017, I designed and followed the work of  a library in a central island of the living room of a house.

This space is the most open and used of the house, it brings together the living room and the dining room, is adjacent to the kitchen and the master bedroom.

A box existed at this point to hide a pole and a ventilation duct.

The renovation project was therefore to find a utility to this central island. The solution of the library quickly became a reality, as the current library of the house was already out of capacity. The library comes with a storage option and an elegant way to hide the networks.

However, it was necessary to leave one of the walls of the library with an opening possibility for maintenance problems.
