A la suite du projet urbain "Le parc des deux rives", chacun des membres du groupe a été chargé de dessiner un projet architectural intégré au plan directeur construit ensemble. 

 

Nous avons ainsi chacun imaginé un équipement public qui permettrait de mettre en valeur notre projet commun.

 

J'ai choisi de dessiner une galerie d'exposition située entre le parc et la nouvelle station de métro du Grand Paris Express.

 

Inspirée par la "galerie", au sens propre, j'ai imaginé un bâtiment construit autour d'une longue galerie sur 3 niveaux sur laquelle sont "pluggées" des boites qui forment les salles d'expositions. 

 

J'ai travaillé ce bâtiment de la rue au parc. Ainsi, la facade sur rue est très minérale et longitudinale (à l'exception des boites extrudées qui rappellent celles de la façade parc et annoncent la galerie) et très haute. Plus on approche du parc et plus les matériaux deviennent végétaux (bois) et les hauteurs se réduisent.

Following the urban project "The Park of the two banks", each of the members of the group was commissioned to design an integrated architectural project.

We each had to chose a public facility that would enhance our common project. I chose to draw a exhibition gallery located between the park and the new subway station of the Grand Paris Express.

Inspired by the historical "gallery", literally, I imagined a building built around a long gallery on 3 levels on which were "plugged" boxes that form the exhibition halls.

 

I worked on this building from the street to the park.

Thus, the street frontage is very mineral and longitudinal (excluding extruded boxes reminiscent of the park facade and announce the gallery) and very high. The closer the building advances to the park the more the  materials become plants based (wood) and heights are reduced.
