Le thème à travers lequel nous avons dû étudier les constructions de Le Corbusier à Firminy fut « le site, le sol, la picturalité».

 

Nous avons donc d’abord dû nous familiariser avec les oeuvres de Le Corbusier et son attachement à la picturalité.

 

Notre analyse de ces édifices  a été très sensible et artistique, et non pas structurelle. Cependant, il a été très intéressant de comprendre la relation au site particulier.

 

Ainsi qu’il a été intéressant de retrouver dans ces trois entités un même souci de la picturalité, recherché par Le Corbusier.

The theme through which we had to study the construction of Le Corbusier in Firminy was "the site, the soil, the pictorial".

 

So we first had to familiarize ourselves with the works of Le Corbusier and his attachment to the pictorial.

 

Our analysis of these buildings was very sensitive and artistic, not structural. However, it was very interesting to understand the relation to the particular site.

 

It was interesting to find these three entities in the same concern for the pictorial, wanted by Le Corbusier
