Mon projet a connu une impressionnante évolution volumétrique au fil des semaines. A travers la concertation avec mes professeurs je suis parvenue à densifier l’îlot que j’occupais au fil des semaines, mais également à profiter pleinement de son orientation et de la possibilité de hauteur qui m’était accordée. Je suis parvenue à un rendu qui me paraissait extrêmement cohérent et conformes aux paramètres enseignés. 

 

 

Cet atelier a été particulièrement enrichissant. En seulement un semestre j’ai vu mon travail et ma reflexion évoluer de façon remarquable. Le concept de densité était encore flou pour moi il y a quelques mois. Il me semble aujourd’hui indissociable de la réflexion architecturale. L’atelier nous pousse à trouver nos propres thèmes de recherches à travers l’analyse et nos propres sites. C’est ce travail préalable qui m’a aidé à concevoir un projet complet.

My project had impressive volumetric changes over weeks, and that progress is shown through the models. Through consultation with my teachers I have come to densify the site I occupied over the weeks, but also to fully enjoy its orientation and the possibility of height that was given to me.

 

I managed to render a building that seemed coherent and consistent with the constraints given. This workshop was particularly rewarding. In just a semester i saw my work and my reflection change remarkably.

 

The density concept was still unclear to me just a few months prior to this studio. It seems today inseparable from the architectural thinking. The studio encourages us to find our own research topics through the analysis and our own sites. It is this preliminary work which helped me to design a complete project.
